Aweens Resolution ~2010~

perluke ada resolutions..im thinking..PERLU..for me a yes..actually we dont have to wait till the new year..its just that if we had resolutions every month..tak terkejar plak nak capai ..hahaha..start2 dah membebel...

whats in store for this year?? insyaAllah, praying for good2 and better things to come ;)

1. NAK KURUS! Takde dah nak 'lose weight', i dont care but i want to be thinner than now.. target 48kg wlaupon aku dah lama gler tak seringan itu :(

2. KERJA BAGUS2 & HAPPILY..BUT...LOSE THE WORKAHOLIC A.K.A STRESS...seriously, can't do with the breakdown..especially when i want to be an successful event manager!

3. GO TO AEROBICS CLASS ON A REGULAR BASIS..tak mahu miss any of aerobics class kat pnb ni..weh, rm2 je satu class :D tak yah fitness first yekk (save duit nye pasal)

4. SAVING LEBIH SIKIT & GO HIKING/CLIMBING..& bercuti dgn MY BFF'S!! kaki jalan nex plan is mendaki gunung kinabalu..aku jenal n fahmi tngah siapkan paperwork ;) and aku nk g sabah ni skaligus survey hotel & transport..jom3!!!!!

5. NAK KAHWIN DGN MOHD FAIZAL B. ABD RASHID (tak perlu masuk resolution kot)..hehehe..& berharap ktorg tak yah buat pinjaman..so terpakse keraskn tangan buat sume mende sendri..hehehe..but im not worried..coz i have my gorgeous bridesmaids awaiting for me to throw them problems to solve & things to design! (tunggu la bridesmaids ku akan ku bahagikan tugas, muahahahaahahaha)

6. BE A BETTER MUSLIM..actually this is always my goal..not only at the beginning of a new year..but every single day...be a better person, try as hard as i can to not leave my solat..and berniat to do everything to gain Allah's recognition~maknanye ikhlas..(slama ni slalu tak ikhlas ke?) heheh

7. START TO FIND PLACES FOR ME TO TAKE MY MASTERS :) part time or OUM (open uni) kot..tapi next year JUST start carik..after dah ada duit ...nak target 2011 tuk sambung (seriesly tuk upgrade career..syg suh jadi lecturer but i honestly don't have the bakat or skills at all..hehehe..aku amazed by korg my beloved teachers! i.e. haida, izzat, c-nah, muf~)

8. KUMPUL DUIT FOR MY PARENTS TO GO UMRAH/HAJI...sian my mum, her life savings totally use tuk besarkan ktorg ;'(

9. BE A BETTER FRIEND, DAUGHTER, LOVER, PERSON...seriously just change for the better...


10. HAVE MORE COORDINATION IN LIFE/WORK..i think pasal aku tngah tngok my work cublicle that looks like a bomb just hit it! ahahahah


wahh..ok..aku mmg suka limitkan up till 10 resolutions je..sbb other resolutions will come up along the way...ya Allah! esok dah 01.01.10...our Akad Nikah (InsyaAllah) is 01.10.10..which means..9 more short months to go!!!!!!

end of the year! whut happened to 2009 resolutions?

today its the 30th of December..im back in the office after 2 days MC (which i spent shopping around for stuff to give to my future-in-laws, ehehe)..i still haven't thought about my new years resolutions sepenuhnye so for this entry..i just wanna stop & see what happened to this years resolutions? tercapai ke tidak? jom ushaaaaa:


i'll just copy paste from my 'resolutions' entry :D


1. TO LOSE WEIGHT (ermm..ok yang nih paling susah la nak keep track of..it as more to up and down, then up n down again..hehehe..ok la the highlights were; i lost 2 kg after OBS (way back in March), ermm, i think after i came back i gained the kgs back :0 then maintain je same..despite going to aerobics..jeez..ok nex year resolution=TO LOSE AT LEAST 4KG! THEN MAINTAIN!!..pls3..eventho syg mesti marah when he reads this..hehe..aku nak kurus la..aku tau syg akan cintakan aku eventho aku gemuk cam skrg..but but..)

2. PLAN MY MONEY MORE WISELY (wokeyhh..ehmmm, planned quite wisely enuf jugak la, hehehe..surprisingly i bought my precious vee, without any prior plan, and i am surviving financially ok..still bersosialize, still can belanja my frens, still can berhoo haaa..and in the end..still save money for my wedding, amazing! thank you Allah)

3. TRIP TO PERHENTIAN (yang ni plannye tak jadi..was cancelled and takde org pegi pon ;( huuuu..and if it wasn't cancelled pon, i had to tarik diri..becoz on the date tu, syg was coming to kl..yeah...rain check jenal/fahmi!!!)

4. MEET MY FUTURE IN-LAWS (yesssssssss..this actually happened in June 2009! yay..dgn kebenaran mama lagi ok (^_^) i had a great time, and tomorow..will be my second visit there! yeahhh!!!~cutiiiiii)

5. GET CONTROL OF MY EGO (i think, i actually have an improvement this year..seriously..i took a step back, a breather..and let other people help me in my life..yang ni pon amazing..hope i can still control it until our wedding, u never know when the bridezilla comes out!)

6. JOIN AN AEROBICS CLASS (aerobics class! CHECK! walaupun only kat gym PNB, but i already know the crowd & skrg dorg duk remind aku, knapa dah lama tak naik! i will !! 2010, i promishh)

7. WORK SMART & GET CONFIRMED IN PNB (hehehe..donno bout the work smart part..but we sure as hell got confirmed already :), after the final interview on 4th November 2009, i officially got confirmed..happy kot..entitled to bonus & dental claim..yeyyyy)

8. STOP PROCRASTINATING (ini pon tercapai jugak sket2, yep..i stay back now at the office to ensure i don't put my work on hold for too long..but..work overload..tak leh wat apa gak kan..heh)

9. BE A REMAJA!! (i sure as hell am a remaja this year! outings wiff my bff's, wlaupun tak sefrequent dulu..kira ok laaaa, plus my PuRe)

10. i'm really hoping for this one..GET ENGAGED TO FAIZAL..or merisik/meminang whatever that leads to bringing our relationship & families closer together...(ini paling happiest!!! tanggal 10 Oktober 2009, we got engaged :) love love love..next up..2010 Resolutions~skejap nye masa berlalu ;O

yes...finally..one less thing to gaduh2 & runsing about..hehehe..

i am actually typing away at home rite now..dapat mc dua hari becoz of the dental surgery i had yesterday (yang i dont wanna remember anymore)... i just wanna recover a.s.a.p. so i can go back to the office tomoro (weds & thurs) then balik on thursday 5p.m. on the dot and go celebrate my new years 2010 with my chenta in kk :D a'ah..im going to kk!!!! seeing as work was just too hectic in december for me & syg..we decided to take leave in January..start2 tahun baru dah cuti..hehehe..we deserve it anyway! yayy!!

eh, terlari tajuk pulak aku.. heee..yesterday before my surgery i went to book the reception hall for our wedding (brides' side)..luckily, i was the first to book for October..from January-June..they are already fully booked boleh tak? pheww..why buat at a hall instead of at home? its what i've always wanted la kot..dah penat sejak kecik keep on jadi kerahan tenaga bawahan time wedding cousins (usually buat kat umah nenek je slalu) so searching for a breath of fresh air...lagipun at syg majlis nnt, we will go full on traditional..kampung style! yeah..so biar balance (alasan of course) hehe

so just to share info this is the journey of our venue searching madness...

FIRST of all..haruslah i googled je kan..and i got the list of venues from here, and here 

so, I listed down my criterias..

a. must be a place near to our house (Keramat)
b. not far from my Kampung (Kampung Baru, KL je ok)
c. have ample parking
d. affordable for me & syg (pkai duit sendri tak yah la grand2, xde duit for that.ahaha)

okla actually yang paling penting affordable lah kan..so i shortlisted the list and it turned out like this:-

1. Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Baru (ni tempat wardina safiyyah buat her majlis bertandang dulu, becoz hubby dia kan org kampung baru, ok mmg blakang umah nenek je ni, and actually my mum dah book before she new our official engagement date pon! ahaha)

Restoran Alamo, Kelab Sultan Sulaiman, Kampung Baru (this is the dewan that we went to usha the other day, and memang cantik la kl skyline view from here, however, the p-i-c that we met that day didn't bring along the photos or quotations or us to further usha..and up till today (after making numerous calls & sms's) they still haven't sent us the emails or fax..jawapannye..malas suda)~ in reality my heart dah set dah nak buat kat sni ;(

3. Dewan Serbaguna AU 2 (this hall is under the management of MJAP, sewa nye RM250/hour, for preparation RM100/hour (no aircond)~ memang dekat wiff my house & oso near JJ AU2 (takde kena mengena i know)

4. Pusat Komuniti Setiawangsa (tak jumpa la gambar the dewan time google, so me n wna went to see the place itself, nmpak mcm dah usang nobody uses it anymore i guess and a bit small for our likinggs..so..next!!)


5. Dewan Wadieburn, Setapak (my mum ckp tmpat ni khas utk anak2 askar je, ye ke..entah le)

6. Dewan Pengaman, Pulapol, Jalan Semarak (ini pulak ramai anggota polis buat reception kat sini, tapi tmpat ni cantik, ala2 open gitu)

Dewan Merak Kayangan, Felda (if under our budget, mmg i would opt to do it here..ye la..my dad works at the same building kot, Felda HQ, so we asked around how much discount/staff price..only RM1K discount off any of the packages..rm1k je? , and the pakage starts wih RM30++ per head..takpelahh)

8. Dewan Sebaguna Datuk Keramat (actually this dewan dah lama gila under construction, but now macam dah nak siap tapi tak tersiap2..who knows october next year it will be ready for use rite? hehs

Kaed Gallery, IIUM (kenapa antara last choice ni? the place where i met my syg, the place we have had our so many countless events, the portfolio gallery, the exam hall..yess..step back into the past..i love this place!! but...syg tak suka pulakk nak patah balik to the past..ok..ikut cakap dia..he said the last2 choice.~ at least he still let me put it in our choice list~ hehehe)

last skali kitorang mengusha la dewan yang takde dalam original list pun, all becoz it started when mama had a wedding reception there last 2 weeks..dia cam suka tempat tu and i googled it up...we were waiting for other place to fax/email us back..

at the same time.. mama had already called the dewan to put our date on hold..me, without knowing that mama had blocked our date,  pegi call the nex and terkejut beruk org tu cakap date tu dah ada org book..hahahah..gler tapaper.. so then aku bertawakal je dgn the next day ..itupun ok kot..then balik umah mama said she was the one that had booked, then syg called the place and asked everything (totally syg & mama yang deal)..

then kja aku? --> set the appointment to book & pay deposit (will be refunded after event~based on norm t & c)..which i did yesterday..tu pon sebab mc . LOL

 so we have booked Dewan Gemalasari, Bangunan RISDA, Jalan Ampang :)

ya itulah dia ceritera for today...thanx to greenlight from my mum (kalu tak jgn harapla mama happy if pilih tempat without her approval) & tq to my syg yang call kak nona from risda tu all the way from Sabah..hehehe..gedikkan aku ? nak jugak suh syg buat..ahahah...for those interested to sewa jugak this place (omg my manglish is horrible!) starting from Jan 2010 they are now offering wedding packages at affordable prices (sebab b4 this dia just bagi sewa dewan only) ..ok, skrg nk pergi makan (sup je kot..still cant chew ;( ) 

Ayuh kita....jumpa dentist!?!

i hate going to the dentist..been phobia struck since form 4 time high skool dulu..all becoz the bloody nurse cabut gigi aku without any warning..trauma & menangis aku seminggu ok! hahaha..so anyway..i got a few fillings done..and have afew more to be done early next year..seeing that my office subsidises rm500 per year for dental..why not use it all up before the year ends eh?

so i opted for the scaling, my doc, dr.nik suggested so anyway..hahaha..not surprising since i haven't been to the dentist since god knows when..so bermulalah kengilu'an yang amat..and after that got bleeding gums..but after that my teeth felt much more cleaner :) 

so what is the difference between Scaling, Polishing & Whitening? i had the same questions myself so i googled it up. i got most of the answers from my dentist's blog nway (the main reason i chose to go their in the first place~ thru blog hopping) here at Klinik Fauziah 

the scaler that was used was electronic so it was a faster process..but i still shut my eyes throughout the whole procedure and forced myself to think of happy happy thoughts ;S

oklah..itu je update terbaru..tomorow im going to Meeras wedding, the last wedding of this year :D and plus..tomoro is my syg'z 26th birthday!!!! yes my december baby! ehem, ehem..nak practice nyanyi lagu birthday on the stoke of midnite nih..with love from kl to sabah...

1) Wedding Sedara kat Melaka (05.12.09) - ok mmg teruk kan becoz i don't personally know the couple but relatives yang lain aku kenal lah..heee, yang penting attend >kna pkase kot<

2) Wedding Anne & Abg Siti (11.12.09) - kat Dewan Centrum setiawangsa je across the road from my hse.. abg siti tu nama sebenar dia faiz..dah terbiase panggil tu sejak matrix..hehehe..mereka berdua ialah my university friends :)

3) Wedding Kak Aja (19.12.09) - kaye (my bestfren) nye sis getting married at Dewan Seri Endon, Putrajaya.. ini wajib pegi sebab kak aja  & kaye dah wajibkan..hehehe

4) Walimatul Urus Eija & Hilmi (19.12.09) - yes hari yang sama seperti di atas... ni pon aku wajib pegi gak, sebab over this one year aku dah rapat dgn eija..being my ex-studiomate kat kaed, currently my officemate at PNB & also my 'roomate' kat obs >camping< , heheheh, banyak la telah dilalui bersama..yang ni dekat Bangi

5) Solemnization Abg Pezal & his fiancee (25.12.09) - ok yang ni aku bru dpt tau from my mum td, my cousin nk nikah kat masjib Jamek Kg. baru..cool, bakal bini dia orang Sarawak..ayuh kita ramaikan sedara dari Borneo ye..heee

6) Wedding Meera & her Fiancee (27.12.09) - yay meera is getting hitched!! meera is my fren from high school start from form 3..we were a very bingit klas..hehehe..so saya mengharapkan reunion yang amat bingit juga!! meera's reception is at Kampung Pengantin, Setapak..can't wait...dahle sama date wif sygs bday, wish melalui sms je la ye (dem nak beli hadiah apa kali ni?)...

oh yeah, my officemate kak noly ordered 30 pieces of the kuih cakar ayam (bentuk sarang burung) from my aunt. her sister is getting engaged and she wants to use the sarang burung for her hantaran..just like mine hari tu :) 

heeee..bangga jugakla ada orang lain inspired from my simple hantaran..all thanks to my cik ling, tebal n kukuh sarang burung tu, n yang paling penting..sedap!! :)

yesterday me, wina & mama gi usha dewan..the dewan for my reception nanti next october..lambat kan kitorang tak book lagi? other peeps yang kawin lagi lambat dari aku dah book berkurun dh before me..hehehe..takpe2..aku taknak mengstressed myself..syg said our dateline sampai the end of this month for us to book..after that boleh fikir menda lain dah..im still thinking, and waiting for the catering to give us the quotations & menu.. the place is strategic, dekat dgn rumah nenek (senang tuk my relatives datang), ada aircond & kipas, surau & toilets, plus a spectacular view of kl skyline..yang paling i like is..its affordable & sangat ok with our budget (yang tak de besar mana coz me & syg are totally= SELF-SPONSORED) hehehe..tapi kami sangat2 mengalu-alukan sponsor2 daripada mereka yang sudi..hahaha

tapi...ada jugak cons dia..its not a whole dewan where everyone can sit & see the pelamin, ada 2 separate rooms next to each other but both fully air-cond la..hmm..donno yet, but if nak ikut kata poket..its a strong yes yes yes..tapi kna la food tasting dulu kan..hehehe

 

wondering. . . .

i can't open my facebook today, pasal reasons yang aku pun tak sure knape..maybe my account has been blocked, or my pc dah corrupt, or its just another reason for me to post an entry to my blog seeing as i can't do my regular activities of feeding my fish in fishville or harvesting my plants in farmville (agak annoying lah nama game ni dua2 ada 'ville-ville'), but thats the only stuff that menjadi my hiburan for now..yeah..pathetic..

stress saya masih di tahap yang sama ..or sebnarnye maybe dah bertambah..i don't know why i should feel so stressed pasal kerja ..lagi hebat lah my stress this weekend is, i have a mountain of docs/work on my table that i knew i could have finished some this weekend, but then..plan suma kena kacau when my parents decided last minute that we go to Melaka for a relatives wedding, and decided also LAST MINUTE..that I would be driving..ok la, aku terima jela..sebab ada ayat2 pedas kat blakang sentence pemberi arahan tu ckp 'nnt ko nk kawin takde org nak datang' ..chess, myampah betul bler kna ugut camtu..im not the tpe of person that takde semangat kekeluargaan to go to our relatives wedding, its just that ..I HATE LAST MINUTE PLANS..that interrupt wif my so-called planned weekend (walaupun plan aku is dengan menjadi loser kat office tanpa gaji tambahan langsung=K.U.L.I)

kenapa kerja aku banyak sangat sampai terpaksa datang time weekends? or even stay back late at work every day? time normal office hours aku tak buat kerja ke? tak sempat ke buat kerja aku yang kira senang tu? hey, ingat aku suka ke? (sori, ini memang internal conflict aku ckp dgn diri sendiri)

so aku sendiri yang wondering why aku sangat stress macam ni? why my timbunan kerja tu tak surut..im wondering...am i  a slow worker? am i so stupid i cant get things done quickly? ive been thinking too much..and to give my self some slack..aku rasa..

1) oklaa..maybe i can be a bit faster...but all my works are subject to go thru freking procedures...procedures that im learning step-by-step...dept ni comment then patah balik kt aku, buat kja byk2, laju2..still the thing comes back on my desk again..mmg la tak jalan kja tu...SALAH AKU KE TU? aku ni pekerja hingusan je..slambe kna jerit2 kat phone, buat bingit telinga je..pastu bengang gak bler urgent calls tak dijawab2..

2) i am no superwoman, mintak aku buat 10 kerja and expect it all to be done in a few hours, oh itu adalah mustahil...truthfully speaking..my working weekdays most of the documentation works..tak bergerak pon...pelbagai jenis meeting kena join...settlekan adhoc stuff that everything is urgent..dah takleh nak prioritize works dah..coz EVERYTHING IS FREAKING URGENT..

3) perluke aku dicall setiap hari untuk dikejar & deeply interviewed by org2 berkenaan tuk tanye progress payment/tenancy/requests kat ne..ok la call skali-skala..email ke...ini aku serabut nak puaskan hati semua orang..kna layan lagi panggilan yang sume nak cepat...otak aku jadi freeze..u know like brainfreeze..cakap bukan skejap lak tu..lama nak mampos..direct line, handphone all ringing at once.. HELLOOOOOOO..INI BUKAN CALL CENTER YE! 

mintak maaf banyak2 pembaca..i dont even know why im typing mostly in malay when selalunye if im angry i'll be talking/typing english..mungkin itu tande serabut sangat..

am i whining too much..did i ask for it...? entah..i like having challenges in work..but how can this be challenging when my work cant seem to go even an inch forward? i just hope people can see that im trying my best..putting my usual plastic smiley face on & being the hypocratic happy-go-lucky aween..yela..senyum la selebar mana..dalam hati sape yang tahu...

its not that im not appreciating this opportunity to learn as much as i can, buat kja blambak2 skaligus...aku sangat menghargai..im getting to learn much more faster & deeper about being a so-called real estate something...its just that, i pressure myself to have certain limits..to do everything as quickly as i can..to puaskan hati everyone...my managment, my consultants, my tenants, my clients..kalu boleh aku nak dorg sume happy dgn quality & express work from me & my co..cuma when i feel that i haven't achieved that target.. i feel..like a loser yang sangat lampi & slow..yeah..an all people will see is just the negativeness right? yang positvite nampak ke? nampak ke? im doing work with the small experience of 6 months..tak bagus ke jugak tu..ye, im a person that likes to be acknowledged..at least ppl sholud not just judge me on the surface je..

After more than 5 months of planning..the day finally arrived for us to officially get engaged :) Despite our long-distance..my syg & I planned everything together..it all started with the first step--> me going to Sabah (in June '09)  to meet syg's mum & dad (because on our engagement day they can't come to KL)..

We bought all our hantaran stuff (engagement rings, shirt, tie, baju kurung, etc.) during the Merdeka Sale when syg came over to KL & we got real GREAT bargains (knowing me, I always go crazy over SALES). From booking our catering, photog, make-up, flight tickets...all the preparation that we made felt so much more precious when we used totally our own savings (so it was with a very tight budget! hahaha)~ and to make everything that bit more meaningful..my bestfriends & family were helping me in anyway that they could ♥

what more could I ask for when I have my hearts updating me on the best sales/shops around, maf making my hantaran, Kaye sponsoring my engagement cake, my uncles & aunts sponsoring jelly, dadih, chocolates for my hantaran, gubahan sireh junjung & sarang burung, popia (yang mmg jual kat kg. Baru ok!)..I am honestly the most luckiest girl around :)

We got engaged on a Saturday afternoon, after Zohor (approx. 1.45 pm) & everything went smoothly & fast...It was great..to have syg's family there (dorg datang about 8 cars i think), his uncles & aunts that flew from Sabah to join our ceremony, his cousins, siblings & niece..inilah time for them to berkenal-kenalan with my KL-based family :)

The Theme: Lilac Purple/Baby Purple/Light Purple
My Hantaran's to him: Lilac Purple + Black
His Hantaran to Me: Silver + White

as it was a small & simple event..we only invited our family members, my best best friends & our neighbours, so im sorry if anyone terasa sebab tak dijemput, it doesn't mean that we aren't close..it's just...engagement's should be that way..time kahwin nanti, InsyaAllah..we would want to invite everybody!! (my mum siap nk ajak makcik yang jual burger kat pasar malam~yes, my mum is an over-peramah person) hehehe

Jadi itulah yang terjadi pada hari pertunangan saya...It was a great day, everything went as planned & I'm just so happy to officially become syg's Fiancee now...yay!!
